Earlier this year, we joined forces with Team Market Group to add four trendy, yet historically preserved venues to our lineup of unique event spaces in Orlando.
Team Market Group – A Brief History
Team Market Group owners Keith and Romi Mawardi have developed some of the most innovative event venues in Orlando over the past 15 years. Each one of their brands is created and curated in-house, leading to venues with incredible attention to detail. The small details and emphasis on customer experience are just some of the reasons we’re so excited to partner with them. They continually work to improve their spaces by providing unparalleled customer service and unique entertainment.
Here at AEG, every event we plan comes with a personal challenge to top what we did before. Mathers Social Gathering – A Swanky Place to Gather
All of TMG’s venues are artfully crafted and true to their roots. The best example of this is with Mathers Social Gathering. The building was constructed over 130 years ago and survived the great fire of 1884. In 1933, it became a furniture store called Mathers Furniture. With these deep historical ties, it’s no wonder this venue has quickly become a premiere Orlando event space. The design team at TMG has gone to great lengths to preserve the historical ambiance from the original wood floors to their dapper bartenders!

At AEG, we’re honored to help carry on the history of this special building. The speak-easy, Prohibition-era decor is perfect for anybody trying to punctuate the Roaring 20s. Mathers Social Gathering is large enough to host 150 guests and also has a semi-private space for smaller parties.
Celine Orlando – More than Meets the Eye
In terms of flexibility, Celine Orlando takes the cake. This massive event venue has a combined capacity of 1,180 people. Luckily, the geniuses over at TMG have designed the building to accommodate parties of any size. Celine houses five different spaces that range from a sports club to a rooftop lounge and everything in-between!
Our favorite thing about Celine is the location: right in the heart of Downtown Orlando! From a destination planning perspective, this opens so many doors. Your guests can enjoy a bite in Celine’s Sports Bar, then walk over to catch a basketball game at the Amway Center or a soccer match at the Exploria stadium. The entertainment and dining options are endless.

The Robinson Room – A Scientist Walks into a Bar…
The Robinson Room is what happens when creativity meets execution. Its namesake comes from Norman Robinson, a renowned chemist who built the location in 1884. TMG carries on his legacy by setting Downtown Orlando’s standard for molecular gastronomy – that’s nerd-speak for incredible cocktails! As if that wasn’t enough, TMG is adding coffee to the venue’s repertoire right downstairs.

The Wellborn Hotel – Fresh Take on a Historic Property
Yet another contribution to restoring Orlando’s historic architecture! Comprised of three different buildings, The Wellborn has more versatility than any hotel you’ll find in the area. Centrally located, guests are walking distance to some of the city’s most desirable locations: Lake Eola, Downtown Orlando, Amway Center, and Camping World Stadium. There are plans to add a rooftop lounge, which would really take things to the next level – pun intended.
From business lunches to weddings, the location’s aesthetic lends itself to many different types of events. In the first two months of working with TMG, we’ve had the pleasure of coordinating over 25 different functions here. It’s a testament to The Wellborn’s versatility and incredible staff.
